Terms of Use

User Agreement and use of Cookies

1. Introduction and terminology

This document sets out the conditions for using the Drevushko.com website (hereinafter — the “Site”) and applies to all its visitors. Before beginning to use the Site’s services, place orders or otherwise make use of its features, the User should carefully review the conditions set out below. The document has been drawn up so that interaction with the resource is transparent, predictable and safe for both parties.

This User Agreement (hereinafter — the “Agreement”) governs the relationship between the Site Administration and any natural or legal person who visits the Site or uses its services (hereinafter — the “User”). The Agreement has the force of a public offer: the fact of using the Site signifies the User’s agreement with its conditions in full.

Key terms:

  • Site — the collection of web pages hosted on the internet at drevushko.com, together with their services, programs and content.
  • Administration — the owners of the Site, holding the rights to manage the resource and its content.
  • User — any natural or legal person who has obtained access to the Site and uses its services.
  • Content — any text, graphic, audio and video materials posted on the Site.
  • Cookies — small pieces of data sent by a web server and stored on the User’s device.

2. Subject of the Agreement

2.1. The Administration provides the User with access to information about goods and services — wooden products, woodworking services and design projects — as well as the ability to place orders and use the Site’s interactive services. The range of available features may change and be expanded as the resource develops.

2.2. The use of the materials and services of the Site is governed by the provisions of the applicable legislation of the Republic of Belarus. The law of the Republic of Belarus applies to all relations arising on the basis of this Agreement, unless otherwise directly follows from the law.

2.3. By obtaining access to the materials of the Site, the User is deemed to have acceded to this Agreement. If the User does not agree with any of its conditions, they should cease using the Site. Partial acceptance of the conditions is not permitted: the Agreement operates as a single document.

3. Rights and obligations of the parties

3.1. The User has the right:

  • To search for information on the Site and obtain it for informational purposes.
  • To order the goods and services presented in the catalogues.
  • To put questions to the Administration via the feedback forms.
  • To use information from the Site for personal, non-commercial needs.

3.2. The User is obliged:

  • Not to take actions that may be regarded as disrupting the normal operation of the Site.
  • To ensure the accuracy of the information provided (when registering or placing an order).
  • Not to use scripts (bots, parsers) for the automated collection of information.
  • To respect the copyright in the unique sketches, texts and photographs of wooden products posted on Drevushko.com.

3.3. The Administration has the right:

  • To change the design of the Site, its Content and structure at any time.
  • To restrict access to the Site in the event that the User violates the conditions of the Agreement.
  • To change the prices of goods and services unilaterally (until the order is confirmed).
  • To suspend the operation of the Site for technical work, updates and maintenance.
  • To send the User service and informational messages related to the fulfilment of their orders and the operation of the Site.

4. Intellectual property

All items posted on the Site — design elements, texts, graphic images, illustrations, videos, scripts, programs and their compilations — are the result of intellectual effort and are protected as objects of the exclusive rights of the Administration and other rights holders. This applies equally to product descriptions and original photographs of wooden products.

4.1. Any use of the Content without the written consent of the Administration is prohibited. Use is understood to mean copying, republication, reproduction, adaptation, transfer, sale and distribution of the materials in any form and by any means, including for commercial purposes.

4.2. By way of exception, the quotation of text materials of no more than 300 characters is permitted, provided that an active hyperlink to the source, open for indexing, is mandatorily placed — drevushko.com. The use of graphic materials, even with an indication of the source, is not permitted without the consent of the Administration.

5. Procedure for placing orders and liability

5.1. Information about goods — dimensions, wood species, colour, characteristics — is for reference only. Since wood is a natural material, the finished product may differ slightly from the sample in the photograph in terms of texture, grain pattern, shade and the arrangement of the annual rings. Such differences are due to the natural properties of wood and are not considered a defect.

5.2. The Administration bears no responsibility for losses incurred by the User as a result of technical failures of equipment, software or the services of communication providers that are beyond the Administration’s control. This includes, among other things, the temporary unavailability of the Site, interruptions in data transmission and errors on the User’s side.

5.3. After the goods have been handed over, the User bears responsibility for their proper use. Wooden products require compliance with conditions of storage and use — temperature regime, humidity level and protection from direct contact with water and heat sources. Failure to comply with these conditions may lead to deformation or cracking of the material and does not constitute a warranty case.

5.4. Placing an order on the Site constitutes the User’s offer to purchase the selected goods or services. The order is deemed accepted for fulfilment after it has been confirmed by the Administration — as a rule, in a reply message or when a manager contacts the User. Until the moment of confirmation, the Administration has the right to adjust the terms of the order if inaccuracies are found in the price, availability or characteristics of the goods.

5.5. The lead times for manufacture and delivery, the payment procedure and other material terms are agreed with the User individually when placing the order and may depend on the type of product, its complexity and the batch volume. For products manufactured to individual dimensions and drawings, the lead times and cost are determined after the technical specification has been agreed.

5.6. The return and exchange of goods of proper and improper quality are carried out in accordance with the applicable consumer-protection legislation of the Republic of Belarus. It should be borne in mind that products manufactured to individual order taking into account the User’s personal requirements may not be subject to return and exchange, where this is permitted by law.

6. Cookie usage policy

This section explains how and for what purposes the Site uses cookies, as well as how the User can manage their use. The purpose of using cookies is to make working with the Site more convenient and its services more stable.

6.1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that the browser stores on the User’s computer or smartphone when visiting Drevushko.com. They make it possible to recognize a returning visitor, save their settings and ensure the correct operation of the Site’s interactive functions.

6.2. What types of Cookies do we use?

  1. Strictly necessary: Needed so that you can navigate the Site and use its functions (for example, the “Basket”). Without them, a purchase is not possible.
  2. Analytical and performance: using Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics, the Administration assesses the Site’s traffic and the popularity of individual pages. This anonymized data helps to improve the structure of the resource and the product range.
  3. Functional: They remember your choices (for example, the delivery region or preferred language).
  4. Marketing: they make it possible to show the User more relevant offers of woodworking goods and services and to reduce the share of advertising of no interest to them.

6.3. How to manage Cookies?

Most browsers allow you to decline the use of cookies or restrict them through the settings, as well as to delete previously saved files. It should be borne in mind that when cookies are disabled, certain functions of Drevushko.com — for example, authorization or saving goods in the basket — may not work correctly. By continuing to use the Site with cookies enabled, the User consents to their use.

7. Limitation of liability (Disclaimer)

7.1. The materials of the Site are provided on an “as is” basis. The Administration makes reasonable efforts to keep the information up to date, but does not guarantee the complete absence of typos, inaccuracies or delays in updating prices and stock balances. The final terms of the order are agreed with the User at the time of placing it.

7.2. The Site may contain links to third-party resources — partners, logistics and payment services. The Administration does not control such resources and bears no responsibility for their content, availability and the privacy policies they apply. The User follows external links at their own risk.

8. Force majeure

Neither party bears responsibility for the complete or partial non-performance of obligations if it is caused by force majeure circumstances arising after accession to the Agreement. Such circumstances include, in particular, natural disasters, fires, accidents, military actions, strikes, acts of authorities, changes in legislation and large-scale disruptions in the operation of the internet. For the duration of such circumstances, the performance of obligations is postponed proportionately. The party faced with force majeure circumstances shall, where possible, notify the other party thereof within a reasonable time. If such circumstances continue for a long time and make the performance of obligations impossible, the parties have the right to reconsider the terms of cooperation or to terminate it without mutual claims.

9. Dispute resolution

9.1. The parties shall endeavour to settle all disputes and disagreements arising in connection with this Agreement out of court by means of negotiations. The claims procedure is mandatory: the period for considering a claim and responding to it is 30 (thirty) calendar days from the moment of its receipt.

9.2. If agreement is not reached through the claims procedure, the dispute is referred for consideration to the court at the location of the Site Administration in accordance with the applicable procedural legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

10. Miscellaneous provisions

10.1. This Agreement takes effect from the moment the User visits the Site and is valid indefinitely.

10.2. The Administration has the right to change the text of the Agreement unilaterally without special notice to the User. The current version is always posted on this page and takes effect from the moment of publication. The User is advised to periodically review the text of the Agreement in order to keep track of possible changes to the conditions in good time.

10.3. If any provision of the Agreement is found by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, this does not entail the invalidity of the remaining provisions, which continue to operate in full. An invalid provision shall, where necessary, be replaced by a provision that is closest in meaning and permissible by law.

10.4. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between the User and the Administration regarding the use of the Site and supersedes any prior arrangements on this subject. Matters not regulated by the Agreement are resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

10.5. The User’s acceptance of the conditions of this Agreement confirms that they have reviewed them in full, understand their content and assume the rights and obligations associated with them. The Administration’s inaction in the event of the User’s violation of the conditions of the Agreement does not deprive the Administration of the right to make use of the appropriate measures at a later time.
